Lately I’m seeing so many nostalgic styles coming back and a few I even remember wearing in the nineties as a kid. Pins and iron-on patches are two of the biggest I remember having to have on my outfit or backpack during the nineties but another is a band tour tee. I was fortunate enough that my parents appreciated music and always took me to see the concerts of my favorite bands when I was younger- I still have my Spice Girls ’98 World Tour tee lol. Anyway, I just think band tour tee’s are really cool and even more so when they are similar to the styles of when they had real popularity in the seventies and eighties. Finding authentic vintage band tour tees now can cost upwards of $100 but luckily Forever 21 has caught on with this trend and has reproduced some really cool ones for $20.
I found this Bob Seger 1986 tour tee and decided to get it. I like a few of his songs but I really loved the style of it and the eagle on the front. I paired it with distressed denim shorts, a leather double buckle belt and a choker for major edginess. The tee is super soft so this look was really comfortable and so practical for wearing out and about on a hot summer day.
