Flowery and Flowy

dress: new york & co (50% off right now) | belt: gucci | shoes: sam edelman (under $50) | sunglasses: freyrs (similar and similar)

I first saw this dress in the mall foodcourt while eating lunch with Andrew on my work break. It was on display and it just really caught my eye. Andrew even liked it and he never has a reaction to clothes lol. I didn’t stop in store to check it out but it kept hanging on my mind. We have a wedding in VA on May 5th and I had already purchased a pink dress months back that I intended to wear. But, with warmer temps seemingly nowhere in sight, I started to get nervous about the pink dress being too cold to wear. The wedding is outdoors and in the late afternoon. Going back and forth about this, I decided to check the ny&co site to see the cost of the dress and the sizing availability. Turns out, it was on sale AND they offered it in petite length (for those of you who don’t know, I’m 5’0.). It came and it fit perfectly. I added the belt for style and contrast to the print. It’s so pretty and flowy, I just love it. I plan on wearing it to May 5th wedding, but wanted to shoot it just in case you guys love it just as much as me and want to take advantage of it’s sale price. I am considering changing the shoes though. I wore these shoes into Philly last weekend and my feet were in SO much pain. These shoes look comfortable, but they are a killer to walk in. Since weddings are constant dancing, I’m considering a sandal or wedge. What do you guys think? I need some shoe advice, please!
