Navy and olive is such a chic pairing and I love how I was able to pull these two colors together for this look. This v-neck waist-tie navy dress from Make Me Chic inspired me to think outside the box of neutral shoes and accessories and go with a pop of olive and gold. I really love the fit and cut of this dress. This dress would also pair well with flat sandals or wedges, which is exactly how I will be styling it for a soiree bbq this weekend.

I was recently introduced to Make Me Chic and have since spent hours browsing their inventory of trendy and affordable pieces. They’re actually owned by the same people who run Shein (which I also love). See this dress, here. Also, if you sign up for their newsletter, you’ll receive 20% off of your purchase.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday and has fun plans for this weekend. Tomorrow night I will be making desserts for two bbq’s that I have going on Saturday. Sunday and Monday are mostly unplanned with the priority of lots of grilling and fireworks fitting in there somehow.

Thanks for reading, and have a safe and fun July 4th!
