Sorry for the lapse in posting! I’ve been so busy these past few weekends that I didn’t have time to style and shoot. Even if I have a few free hours on the weekend, I’m absolutely exhausted and spend the time relaxing. There’s been so many changes in my life since I last posted, I’ve just been mostly focused on those. They’re exciting changes though. I enrolled in an online program with Parsons and Teen Vogue to get a certificate in Fashion Industry Essentials. The whole program is online and so far I love it. I’m already half way through my second course and have six left to go. I also just resigned from my previous employer and took a staff accountant position with another company that’s closer to my home. So far, it’s going really good.
I just got this dress and I love how it’s a different take on the lbd with the off shoulder look. The fit is tailored but still conservative. We have a wedding July 4th weekend in Philadelphia and I’ve been going back and forth about what to wear. I must’ve bought three or four dresses and returned them all. I tried this on and it’s now my top contender. I played around with the look and loved the idea of a statement waist belt. Naturally, I grabbed heels to finish this look, but realized a pair of color flats would also look just as good- plus they’re more comfortable.
