I hope everyone enjoyed Labor Day weekend. I definitely did! Since Thursday, I’ve gone out with my friends, visited a few wineries, spent time with family and went shopping. It was very eventful and much needed. We were even lucky enough not to have any rain that was predicted from Hurricane Hermine which I was so glad. It actually ended up being a little breezy and super nice out so I was happy the weather didn’t ruin any plans.

Even though it’s still summer, I’m already in Fall mode with everything from clothes to food. I recently got this red and gray slouchy tunic from The Mint Julep (see other Mint Julep post here) and was excited that I got a chance to wear it this weekend. It’s a great summer to fall transition piece and that’s exactly the types of looks I wore this weekend. It is a tunic, but since I’m short, I could easily pull it off as a shift dress. I love that it has a vintage baseball uniform feel to it  so I decided to keep it ultra casual with sneakers and a hat. I played on the red sleeves with my accessories and kept it nostalgic baseball with a pair of off-white converse. I was also excited that this slouchy tunic paired perfectly with my Rutgers hat that I purchased from the RU store when I was in college which I recently rediscovered while moving some things around in my closet.

These slouchy dolman tunics from The Mint Julep are super comfy and really soft. They’re perfect to wear casually, as I did above, or dressed up with jeans and boots. I also have it in cobalt (see here) which I plan on styling very soon. I’ve teamed up with The Mint Julep to give my readers exclusive access to The Mint Julep slouchy dolman tunic at half off. That’s so awesome right? Usually this sale is only available on Sunday’s but because you are reading this post, you can take advantage of this amazing sale anytime of the week. The girly curls with the baseball cap, love it! This is my favorite kind of outfit; a super comfy base dressed up with accessories to make for a totally chic look. Plus, the sporty, comfy vibes of this are so perfect for fall!

Thank you so much Meg, I appreciate the nice words. Seriously though, I agree with you though on the baseball tee, it doesn’t get any more comfortable than that.
