So excited to share this beauty post. There’s something so magical about Sephora. Everytime I leave there I feel way more confident and excited to have discovered new products. Today I’m sharing my most recent Sephora Haul and Beauty Session. I’m linking all of the products used during my beauty session below, this includes skincare to mascara. The above pic is the finished product. This is the original image taken in indoor lighting. I didn’t re-touch, autocorrect or even brighten it.
Back story- so one of Andrew’s friends from ODU got married on Cinco de Mayo. We spent the weekend there catching up with friends and enjoying the nice weather. We stayed in Richmond Friday night and drove an hour away to the wedding on Saturday, I wanted to get my makeup done for the wedding at Sephora so that’s how I ended up at the Short Pump Sephora.
Murad Essential C-Toner: a quick and refreshing mist, with vitamin c for an extra glow
Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Serum: I actually just started his facial gel cleanser and really love it. This cloud serum is extra moisturizing and leaves the skin so soft.
Sunday Riley Water Cream: used with the above, my skin never felt so plump and soft. This helped my makeup from not looking caked on and my skin didn’t show any fine lines after hours of makeup wear either.
Volition Beauty Eye Gel: I’m always conscious of lines showing around my eyes, I’m paranoid about it. I love that this made sure the sensitive area around my eyes was moisturized.
Ole Henriksen So Nurturing wipes: these were for after! I knew the late night would call for lazy makeup removal. And these did an excellent job of removing all traces while leaving my skin cleansed and toned.
Anastasia Brow Powder in medium brown
Benefit Badgal Bang in black: the newest mascara and it’s even better than the other Badgal’s
Smashbox Covershot Eye Palette in golden hour
Smashbox Lid Primer in light
Stila Smudge Stick Liner in spice: I use the Stila liquid stay-all day liner and love it. I also love this one as well, which she used in brown. I thought I’d hate it, but it’s a nice switch from the everyday black liner
Make Up Forever Step 1 Primer in radiant blue: a must!
Nars Radiant Concealer in cannelle: I use this as an everyday for the past three years and I love it’s coverage and how it lays on the skin.
Sephora Collection Foundation: surprised at how great their foundation is. It gives great coverage and lasts all day.
Sephora Bronzer in 16 heated
Smashbox Cali Contour
Urban Decay Setting Spray: Apparently this spray works even better when heat activated by the skin. This was perfect for the outdoor wedding. My makeup didn’t smudge a bit all night.
Below is how my makeup looked about 6 hours after I got it done, in natural outdoor lighting (no filter, light editing or touch-ups)
